Christian Movies in the digital age

The reach of Christian Enterainment (Christian Movies) was further expanded into the digital age with the 2012 launch of the first Christian Streaming Service Parables.tv which includes movies, tv series, documentaries and short films.

Bob Higley, CEO of Parables.tv, spearheaded TBN's distribution and expansion into the powerhouse that it is today. His experience at TBN made him the perfect candidate to revolutionize the way we access faith-based entertainment today.

"Its interesting that more movies and TV programs are now available on numerous apps and mobile devices. However research shows that 9 out of 10 people still prefer watching their big screen TVs. People also still watch over 5 hours of TV yet somehow find an extra hour per day to watch content on their smart phones and tablets. That's why the cable industry is adding more OTT content to their cable service. If a cable subscriber wants Netflix and Hulu they don't have to leave cable to get it. I witnessed this recently at a hotel. Netflix was on the hotel room TV between TBS and Discovery channel. I used the TV remote to  click on Netflix and it opened up as if I was on Roku or my iPad. I entered my password using the TV remote and all my favorite Netflix selections appeared on the hotel TV. After 27 years working in the cable industry how come I’m not surprised they would figure out how to turn a competitive situation into a revenue opportunity?"
